The Honey Brook Presbyterian Church Launches New Ministry Beginning Thursday February 2nd at 4:30 PM, the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, located at 4331 Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook, will open its Soup Kitchen Ministry to provide a hot meal for those in need. The fellowship hall will be open on the first Thursday of the month from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM serving free soup, ,stews and other food items in our beautiful fellowship hall.
Our new ministry began as a discussion around the table. We were thankful to God about our church building which has two fellowship halls. One person said “why can’t we open a soup kitchen” and planning began from there.
After a year of researching and planning, the group is ready to open the doors. Guests will receive a hot meal and have the chance to talk with church members and volunteers from the local community. It is our hope to develop relationships and show God’s amazing love to those in need.
